A Very Good condition example of the rarely-found first print of Dr No. Despite having the largest print-run to date of any James Bond paperback to date (80,000), good condition examples are now extremely difficult to find. This example in in superb condition, notable for having extremely bright pages all round (page block and internal pages) - pages that show none of the very heavy browning usually associated with this title. Wrapper is in bright, vivid condition with sharp corners front and back. There is a small split to spine at the base (near the 2'6 price), and evidence of sellotape along the spine - but this has been 95% been removed without damaging the book. An altogether very clean example. Book is tightly bound, still springy when opened, and taught and square.
