Jonathan Cape. 1958 (257 pages): VERY GOOD condition second impression - one of just 1,993 copies printed (Gilbert p132), complete with its correct second impression jacket (as denoted by the rear flap listing previous books up to Dr No; front flap having cover line 'Jacket design by PAT MARRiOTT added; and the back of the DJ minus the two-line blurb that was on the 1st impression jacket - Gilbert p132). Boards in very good condition - with just small spit to cloth at the bottom. Features two ink stamps - but legibility makes it inclonclusive as to whether these are library ones or not. There are no other internal stamps or markings of any kind. Page block has minor sunning, but internal pages are clean and completely unmarked. A very good example of the first reprint of this early title.
